Delighted with the work Touchwood did on my 1930s flat! They have a deep knowledge of their craft and were patient while I faffed about choosing a custom stain for my floors (mix of oak and pine). Absolute class! There's an element of anxiety associated with getting tradesmen into the house to do work, but Gary and Lewis are on a different level. They genuinely went beyond and above to deliver, even doing other bits that I had thought I would need to pay a joiner to fix. They literally transformed the floorboards. The complements we've been getting since they transformed the living rooms has been unreal. They're incredibly professional! Highly recommended!!!

I cannot praise Gary and Lewis enough. From the moment Gary first came to assess our rather ancient & warped parquet floors we knew he was not only an expert, but a genuinely enthusiastic craftsman. He knows his subject inside out. They turned up very, very promptly at 8am and over two days transformed the tired, dirty old Edwardian parquet floor of a very large sitting room into something really beautiful, the colour is warm and wonderful now. They sanded & filled in cracks in the parquet invisibly, replacing missing detail and securing loose pieces of wood. Sealing and varnishing followed. Hall and a single bedroom were all done the next day. There was actually minimal dust. We are so delighted with the result and it will last for many decades to come. You couldn’t find better people.
